LANmineSA is a Local Area Network (LAN) gaming party held in the Barossa for PC gamers in conjunction with the Barossa Council. In the past, LANmineSA consisted of a small group of friends, but has now expanded and welcomes anyone to come and join us. LANmineSA is a non-profit group, with the very small surplus all going back into the next event for prizes, infrastructure or other requirements.
We run a LAN about once every 8 to 10 weeks in Tanunda, located in the Barossa Wine District. The Barossa is only a short 1 hour drive from the Adelaide CBD. Our membership started as mainly youth but we now have attendees of all ages, making for a more broad and satisfying LAN for all involved.
Currently LANmineSA see an average attendance of 30 to 40 and continues to grow each event we hold. We offer a relaxed, friendly environment for some casual gaming and encourage people new LAN parties, to come and see what all the fuss is about. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we usually have some door and competition prizes to give away on the day/night.
If you have any questions about LANmineSA or you are interested in coming to an event, please register and make use of our forum as our friendy members are always happy to help you out.
